If you are having a Halloween party or just want a few special treats that you can easily make at home, here’s a quick round-up of some ideas.
For a whole range of Halloween party food ideas plus party games and crafts, read my post on Halloween party food from two years ago.

Some additional things in the picture above, that I didn’t do last time, are Halloween shaped breaded turkey pieces from Iceland, to which I added edible eyes (by Cake Decor which you can find in supermarkets), some mini cheese shapes by Strings & Things, some cobweb shaped pretzels from M&S, Monster Munch crisps and my favourite new idea – witches’ broomsticks. These are made from long pretzel sticks, which I found in M&S, and half a Cheese String on the bottom!
I also made some Halloween chocolate bark – it’s a good way to use up any leftover candy after trick or treating! You can read how I made it on my other blog, Caroline Makes.

I also made some spooky sugar cookies this year following a class at Biscuiteers a few months back. These are fun to decorate with children as an activity, as well as something you can serve them for Halloween. To find out more hop over to Caroline Makes and read the post.
